The Technical Surveyor plays a critical role in supporting Westminster City Councils Housing Services, ensuring that investment and refurbishment works across the housing stock are well-designed, technically robust, and provide Value for Money for both the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) and leaseholders.
Working closely with Asset Strategy, Service Providers, and internal stakeholders, the role leads on the technical appraisal of Client Briefs, Task development, Project Execution Plans, and Service Provider Proposals during the pre-construction phase. The Technical Surveyor ensures that technical solutions are compliant, achievable, risk-managed, and aligned with the Partnering Agreement.
The postholder will act as a technical adviser, supporting planning, design, compliance, budget development, and programme assurance, while contributing to continuous improvement, design standards, stakeholder engagement, and customer-focused service delivery.
