A leading recruitment agency seeks a Technical Sales Representative for the construction recycling sector in the UK. The role involves managing existing client relationships and acquiring new business opportunities, with a salary range of £60,000 to £90,000 plus benefits. Candidates should possess a strong B2B sales background and be willing to travel across the UK and Ireland.

Company & Role:
Specialising in Design, Manufacture, Installation & Maintenance of Recycling Plants – all in one Solution & Service Provider.
As Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing existing clients (40%) and winning new business (60%) across the UK.
This role will be selling to into SME / Privately Owned waste disposal and processing companies.
The products & services you will be selling is varied therefore any background in construction / industrial sales, capital equipment, waste equipment will be considered.
What is essential is that you are driven, motivated, hungry and have the ‘hunter’ mentality within sales. If you can demonstrate how, you have grown accounts & developed new business, this will be highly favoured. Success in the first 12 months is focused on your cold-calling and number of meetings attended and the drive.
The salary range is due to the skillsets & experience being open. If you have limited experience in closing large projects but have sold technical capital equipment into the sector or similar end-users you will be considered, and training & development will be provided. And if you have extensive CapEx experience, 360 sales process and solid track figures then you will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
· Boost sales of existing products and contribute to new business growth.
· Work closely with wider sales team for cross-selling opportunities.
· Targeted on 20 client visits per week.
· Oversee all major tenders and quotations, ensuring technical elements aligned with capabilities.
· Assist in pricing, proposal development and ensuring submission deadlines are met.
· Maintain strong, ongoing contact with existing clients and respond to queries with urgency and professionalism.
Requirements
· Right to Work in the UK
· Driving License
· Minimum of 5 years experience in a B2B Sales / New Business role.
· Construction / Industrial Experience: construction / industrial sales, capital equipment, waste equipment
· Must have strong organisational skills
· Happy to travel throughout the UK & Ireland
Salary & Benefits Package
· £60,000 to £90,000 per annum + Bonus
