Overview

Technical Sales Manager - Ventilation Products. Area to be covered: South West. Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + uncapped commission (1.5% of all sales) + discretionary annual bonus between £6,000 - £10,000. Benefits: hybrid or electric company car + comprehensive benefits packages.

Responsibilities
  • Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of ventilation products and systems.
  • Focus on social housing, local authorities and new build projects such as office blocks, apartment blocks, hotels, student accommodation, etc., as well as associated commercial projects.
  • The majority of time will be spent generating specifications via building services consultants, M&E consultants, specifiers and housing developers.
  • The remaining time will be spent selling into M&E contractors, main contractors, sub-contractors, developers and builders.
  • Majority of time focused on generating new business relationships and maximizing potential from neglected existing accounts.
  • Dealing with typical projects of around £50k - £500k depending on project size.
The ideal applicant will have
  • Ideally a technical manager or related technical background looking to step into field.
  • Must have strong technical knowledge and capabilities.
  • Sales experience.
  • Must have HVAC product related experience, e.g., ventilation products, ventilation systems, ducting units, air handling units, air conditioning, extract fans, heat recovery units, boilers, radiators, fans, attenuation units.
  • Ideally have contacts with M&E consultants, social housing specifiers, main contractors and sub-contractors.
  • A team player who is highly organised.
