Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Technical Sales Executive for a permanent, full-time role in Dingwall, Scotland. FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Technical Sales Executive based in Dingwall, Ross-shire on a Permanent, Full Time basis.

Working with a close-knit team, this role will cover all Internal Sales activities for the company’s range of industrial electrical products, supporting clients from initial enquiry through the order process to delivery, maintaining excellent customer service throughout.

This role would be ideally suited to applicants with a proven background in Internal Sales roles, working with similar equipment in an industrial sector.

Main duties include:

  • Take responsibility for designated customer accounts, ensuring timely progression of orders and quotations
  • Develop and maintain positive, long-term professional relationships with our customers and suppliers, delivering exceptional service
  • Source and procure materials to meet customer requirements, ensuring availability and timely delivery
  • Provide technical clarifications and appraisals as required by customers.
  • Maintain and expand your technical knowledge of core products and attend relevant training as required to enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with QHSE directives.

Suitable candidates should have the following:

  • Previous experience in an Internal Sales role in an industrial environment, preferably Oil & Gas
  • Knowledge of electrical bulk material or experience in a similar technical role.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and customer-focused with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the company

Candidates should be based locally to Dingwall, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
