A local government authority in the United Kingdom is seeking a full-time team member to support the management and delivery of technical services across roads operations. The role requires ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and helping achieve the Council's objectives. The position is temporary until March 2027, with a salary of £42,115 – £45,882 per annum. Candidates must be prepared to work predominantly from various office locations, with the flexibility to work from home occasionally.
Support the Team Leader in the effective day‑to‑day management and delivery of a comprehensive technical service to roads operations across the Alliance, ensuring the provision and implementation of relevant statutory regulations and legislation related to the work in order to achieve the Joint Committee’s key objectives; specifically in relation to both Council’s Community Plans, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreements and Best Value.
This is a temporary full‑time post based at County Buildings, Ayr, temporary until 31 March 2027.
Work schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary: £42,115 – £45,882 per annum.
Flexibility: 50–79% of your time in an office location or multiple work locations. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 2.5 to 4 days per week and only occasionally from home. Office‑based employees (except those working in schools) are expected to work to the higher end of their allocated work style in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
