Technical Manager - Residential Developer — Location: South East London — Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

About the Company: Our client is a leading residential developer dedicated to delivering high-quality homes across London and the South East. With a strong reputation for excellence and innovation, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Manager to join their team.

The Project: Multi-phased residential development with another 8 years minimum. This phase specifically Build to Rent.

Role Overview

As a Technical Manager, you will oversee the technical design process from planning through to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality residential developments. You will collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve project objectives efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the technical design process for new build residential developments.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants to produce detailed designs that meet building regulations and client specifications.
• Ensure designs adhere to current health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee technical aspects of project delivery, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Manage and resolve design-related issues during construction, providing technical support to site teams.
• Liaise with local authorities and statutory bodies to secure necessary approvals.
• Work closely with the construction and commercial teams to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
