Technical Maintenance & Automation Engineer - Oxfordshire

Salary: Up to £70,000 | Hours: Mon‑Fri, days (flexible)

We're looking for a highly skilled Technical Maintenance & Automation Engineer to join a busy production site. You'll be responsible for keeping complex plant and automation systems running at peak performance, troubleshooting faults, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical systems, PLCs (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Mitsubishi), drives, motors, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
  • Lead fault‑finding and repairs to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Plan, execute, and improve preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Support small automation and process improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate records in CMMS and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with operations, contractors, and engineering colleagues to deliver technical solutions.
What we're looking for
