The successful candidate will work closely with lighting leads to optimize rendering processes and assist in problem-solving technical issues. This role requires experience with Katana and RIS, strong debugging skills, and proactive communication. The position is hybrid, requiring at least one day on-site per week. Qualifications

• Good experience with Katana & RIS.
• Familiarity with Python/OpScript.
• Experience with lighting.
• Understanding of proactive problem solving.
• Experience with debugging and profiling/optimisation.
• Understanding of path tracing renderers.

Responsibilities

• Profile and optimise inefficient renders on local projects.
• Assist in debugging technical issues with lighting setups.
• Monitor the render farm for problematic high-resource renders.
• Provide documentation and training on profiling and optimisation processes.
• Identify tools to improve the efficiency of lighting department renders.
