Exciting News! We have a new opportunity to join a state‑of‑the‑art workshop team. Due to rapid growth we are looking for a skilled administrator to support with the day‑to‑day operation of the workshop.

  • Location: Corby
  • Position: Technical Coordinator (Mechanical)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Day shift
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Salary: £15.50p/h, weekly pay

About the Role:
  • Provide comprehensive support to the Technical Manager in the day‑to‑day operation of the workshop.
  • Plan and load workshop schedules, prioritising vehicles to meet customer KPIs, including recalls, warranty work, Royal Mail, Police, company vehicles, Jemca and TGB requirements.
  • Lead workshop administration, working closely with administrative and key account leads to ensure efficient workflow and accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate and prioritise technical activity for ՝ non‑starting vehicles and flat battery cases to minimise dropped loads.
  • Utilise technical documentation and manufacturer systems to identify and validate recall requirements.
  • Maintain and update technical activity and compound services using 20/20 systems.
  • Raise and manage job cards to support technical and workshop activities.
  • Operate and manage workshop management systems extensively, including Auto Soft, 20/20 Service Box and EXteq Optimus.
About you:
  • Previous experience in a workshop, technical coordination, service administration or automotive operational role.
  • Experience planning and scheduling workshop workloads to meet KPIs effettuare calm.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle recalls, warranty processes and technical documentation.
  • Strong IT skills with confidence using multiple systems simultaneously.
