Job description

Overview

We are looking to recruit a Technical Operative 1 in the Configuration dept for our growing team that will provide effective and efficient support to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic to intermediate level IT configuration services and be competent at component level while being self-sufficient to manage workload within timely parameters.
• Perform software installations and configuration in existing IT infrastructure or pre-designed projects; familiar with current Microsoft desktop operating systems.
• Undertake bespoke system work and in-house system configurations (training provided).
• Build software using detailed scripts; training provided on scripts and adherence is required to avoid escalation.
• Maintain effective up-line reporting and communicate with varying levels of stakeholders.
• Data input (approximately 25-50% of role) on spreadsheets with high attention to detail.
• Consolidate consignments for distribution.
• Coordinate individual assignments and ensure awareness of contribution to overall orders; communicate status (behind/ahead of schedule) with Supervisors/TLs to agree on actions.
• Manage pallet movement and work planning to meet targets and SLA with strong time management skills.
• Box and unbox IT equipment as required.
