Overview
As a Kitchen Team Member, you will support smooth kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a hygienic and organized workspace. You will work closely with the kitchen and wider team to deliver high‑quality dishes while adhering to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients: chopping, cutting, marinating, measuring and mixing according to standardized recipes.
- Cook and plate dishes: monitor quality, operate kitchen equipment (grills, ovens, fryers, blenders), and garnish for visual appeal.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene: keep the workspace clean, follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, and store ingredients properly.
- Manage inventory: monitor stock levels, report shortages, assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing deliveries, and minimize food waste.
- Coordinate time management: ensure dishes are ready on time, especially during peak service hours, and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Adapt to changes: adjust to menu changes or ingredient substitutions quickly and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high‑pressure environment.

- Knife skills: proficiency in cutting, slicing, dicing, and chopping safely and efficiently.
