  • Oversee the day‑to‑day duty rota, ensuring all referrals and safeguarding concerns are responded to effectively and within statutory timeframes.
  • Provide reflective supervision, support professional development, and drive performance within the team.
  • Maintain oversight of pathway plans, ensuring they are young‑person centred and promote independence.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including immigration services, health, education, and housing.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities under the Children Act 1989, Leaving Care Guidance, and relevant UASC legislation.
  • Champion the voice of the young person and promote equality, inclusion, and trauma‑informed approaches.

  • Proven management or senior practice experience in children's social care.
  • Experience working with children in care, care leavers, or UASC is highly desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment, and legislative frameworks.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
