Job summary

A Subway franchise in Lancaster is seeking a dedicated Subway Team Leader to manage daily operations, supervise a small team, and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and retail, along with strong communication skills. Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales, and/or customer service.
• Desirable experience in a supervisory role.
• A winning attitude and excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food including baking bread and cookies.
• Maintain food storage and preparation areas for health and safety.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain store cleanliness.
• Manage stock control and deliveries.
• Coach newer or less experienced team members.

Job description

We are looking for a team member to work 16 - 30 hours in our Church Street Subway store in Lancaster.

As a Subway Team Leader you will be the face of our store. As well as preparing and serving delicious Subway sandwiches you will meet and greet guests and deliver exceptional customer service, as well as supervising daily operations and a small team of employees.

The ideal candidate

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service, and in a supervisory role is desirable. Excellent communication skills; especially verbal and a winning attitude is required.

Main responsibilities

• Food preparation including bread and cookie baking
• Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
• Customer service, till use and store cleanliness

• Checking in deliveries
• Coaching newer or less experienced team members
