The City Open Spaces team manages the daily presentation and maintenance of Council's open spaces, sports grounds, playgrounds, passive and public spaces, golf courses, botanical gardens and native vegetation areas within the Cumberland City Area ensuring that our residents and visitors have access to quality and attractive open spaces of which they can be proud and enjoy.
The Team Leader will lead a small team in undertaking a range of activities that deliver the overall maintenance of Council's Open Spaces. The Team Leader will assist in ensuring customer and community satisfaction with Council's Open Spaces are met by presenting and servicing our facilities in accordance with service specifications and will ensure individual Work Health and Safety responsibilities under Council policy and legislation are met at all times and at all levels within the team to ensure a safe place of work.
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
