£51,530.94 - £53,326.45 per year inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £2,859 per annum.
A relocation package applies to this post and we will pay interview expenses from within the UK.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced or aspiring Team Leader to lead our friendly, supportive team at Isleshavn Care Services.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible individual who can build on their previous work in care to inspire and lead their team to deliver professional, personalised and outcome focused care to customers within our residential care home, day services and within their own homes.
As successful candidate, you will be central to achieving, ensuing and maintaining excellent services for our clients, whilst leading the team to ensure performance and regulatory standards are maintained.
You will lead the team to develop and achieve the customer focussed, effective and efficient delivery of the service plan, service improvement and outcomes required in accordance with agreed specifications, service standards, performance targets and costs and be responsible for effective delivery of services in accordance with the Council\'s, SSC and Care Inspectorate values, objectives, targets and statutory obligations.

The team delivers24-hour care and support. As Shetland does not have any nursing homes or hospices the care we provide can be complex and multifaceted. Strong partnership working with the NHS, local council, and third sector organisations is central to ensuring the highest standards of care and meeting the needs of the island community.
The service is managed by a Senior Team Leader under the guidance of an Executive Manager. Across Shetland, there are nine Team Leaders responsible for managing older people's care services. They meet at least once a month to share knowledge, support one another, and ensure consistent, high-quality care across the isles.
