Team Leader

Location: Brixton

Salary: £30,082 per annum

We're Hiring: Team Leader - Health & Wellbeing Services

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will:

  • Manage a team of practitioners providing tailored health and wellbeing support to adults with drug and alcohol issues, using both harm reduction and abstinence-based approaches, and supporting low-level mental health needs.
  • Allocate caseloads, oversee a small number of complex cases, and ensure services are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Provide day-to-day support, supervision, and development to your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Take responsibility for meeting performance targets set by Forward, commissioners, and the prime contractor.
  • Ensure data accuracy and reporting deadlines are met, supporting the Service Manager in effective contract delivery.
  • Act as the senior representative on site when required, deputising for the Service Manager to ensure smooth service operation.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with your Service Manager, your team, and partner agencies.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrable experience in the management of teams, performance, and development.
  • A genuine interest in motivating and developing people.
  • Experience in key relationship management both internally and externally.
  • Knowledge and experience of implementing formal procedures and policies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • A solid understanding of issues faced by adults with drug, alcohol, and mental health needs.
