A growing children's residential care provider in Houghton on the Hill seeks a Team Leader to enhance the nurturing environment for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Qualifications

Team Leader - Children's Residential Care

Houghton on the Hill, Leicester | £14.50 - £15.50 per hour | 40 hours per week

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and established children's residential care provider for a Team Leader to join their open and established 3-bed home based in Houghton on the Hill, Leicester.

The home supports children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and provides a stable, nurturing environment where young people are supported to achieve positive outcomes.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker or Team Leader looking to join a provider that is expanding and investing in its homes and people.

The Role
  • Leading shifts and supporting the day-to-day running of the home
  • Acting as a positive role model for staff and young people
  • Supporting care planning, safeguarding and behaviour management
  • Ensuring high standards of care in line with policies and regulations
  • Supporting, mentoring and developing Support Workers
  • Working closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager
Shift pattern:
  • 40 hours per week
  • 1 shift on / 2 shifts off
About You
  • Has experience working in children's residential care, ideally with EBD
  • Is currently a Senior Support Worker or Team Leader, or ready to step up
  • Has strong safeguarding knowledge and understands trauma-informed care
  • Is confident leading shifts and supporting staff
  • Holds (or is working towards) a Level 3 or Level 4 in Children & Young People
  • Is flexible, reliable and passionate about making a difference
Salary & Benefits
  • £14.50 - £15.50 per hour (depending on experience)
