Trevone House is Gloucestershire County Council’s flagship, semi-independent accommodation for young people aged 16 to 25, providing care leavers with pathways to a brighter future and specialist support during crisis. The service includes 19 flats for looked-after young people, a well-being suite with two specialist flats for those needing mental health support, and a PACE/Emergency bed for times of crisis.

Responsibilities

As a Team Leader you will ensure the delivery of bespoke services to support young people residing in Trevone House and lead one of four teams on a rolling rota of 12-hour shifts from 7:30 to 7:30, 3 on/3 off, alternating between days and nights with weekends included. You will have prior experience in this field or a related role. A full UK driving licence is preferred to support activities with young people.

  • Technical competency (qualifications and training)
  • Level 4 E (or commitment to achieving within 12 months of appointment)
  • Level 5 Leadership and Management (D) or commitment to achieving within 12 months
The Journey

You will be supported by Homes2Inspire to obtain the training and qualifications needed for your role, including full induction and initial training before commencing shift work. The fully funded initial training will cover Safeguarding, Health and Safety, First Aid, Adverse Childhood Experiences and Trauma training. Ongoing professional development includes:
