Job summary

A care service provider is seeking a Team Leader to work in Chesterfield. The ideal candidate will provide leadership to the care team, ensuring effective support to older individuals and those with disabilities. You will collaborate with managers and nurses to maintain high standards of care. Applicants should have, or be willing to obtain, a Level 3 in care and possess relevant experience in this field. This role offers a part-time position of 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Have or be willing to work towards a Level 3 in care.
  • Experience of working with individuals with learning difficulties, disabilities, or older people.
  • Experience supervising / leading individuals in delivering effective care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the care and support team during any span of duty.
  • Ensure safe, effective, and efficient care for older people and those with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with Registered Managers and Staff Nurses.

Team Leader

Based: Split hours between Amberley Nursing Home, Calow, Chesterfield and Fisher Close,Grangewood, Chesterfield

Hours: 24 hours per week

Salary: £19,096.07 per annum

The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Team Leader to join our teams in Calow, Chesterfield.

As a Team Leader you will be working in collaboration with the Registered Managers, Staff Nurses and Home Support Workers within the nursing care setting. You will be responsible for professionally leading the care and support team during any span of duty, ensuring the provision of a safe, effective and efficient care and support service to older people and people with learning difficulties / disabilities is maintained, which respects their rights and choices and meets their individual needs, inline with CQC Regulations and organisational policies and procedures.

Do you have?

  • Have or be willing to work towards a Level 3 in care.
