Job summary

A supportive living services provider in Teesside is seeking a Team Leader to deliver excellence in services for adults with autism and complex needs. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, strong leadership qualities, and a compassionate approach to care. Required qualifications include a Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma, with the willingness to pursue Level 5. This role offers a comprehensive employment package, including 6 weeks of paid holiday and ongoing training.

Job description

ESPA are looking to recruit a Team Leader to work across their Supported Living provision in Teesside. Applicants will need to be experienced in delivering services of excellence to adults with autism and complex needs. You must have a mature, confident and compassionate attitude towards working with people who have additional needs. Knowledge and experience of positive behavioural approaches is essential as is the ability to model best practice in all aspects of your work.

Experience of managing a staff team or supervisory experience at a more senior level is also essential, as is a proactive approach to all matters relating to the delivery of an efficient and responsive service.

  • A knowledge of CQC and their role is necessary
  • A flexible approach to your work would be essential
  • The successful candidate will have strong leadership qualities and be committed to providing a service that prioritizes the safety, wellbeing and progression of the people being supported
  • The successful candidate will need to be available to be part of a senior on call team within the Teesside area
  • Minimum qualification Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma and a willingness to work towards completion of Level 5 Health and Social Care Diploma as a priority
