Pay Rate: £26,249.60 per year

Grade: O

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00, Friday 08:00-14:30

Location: HMP Birmingham - B18 4AS

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a prison. You will be required to undergo an enhanced security vetting process if you are to be successful for this position.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Leading a group of prisoners in a warehouse environment, whilst also being hands on with picking and packing
• Reconciling stock levels within the warehouse operation (based on-site at the prison)
• Managing the delivery of accurate and timely dispatch of orders to the inmates
• Ensuring operational targets are met and exceeded

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Five years of UK address history/residency (mandatory for enhanced security clearance)
• The ability to work in a prison environment, alongside inmates (vulnerable persons)
• A good understanding of warehouse processes
• Good communication skills across all levels
