Overview

A Vacancy at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust.

Leadership & Management (80% focus)
  • Service Development: Proactively lead & implement service improvement initiatives, utilizing quality improvement processes.
  • Team Oversight: Provide direct supervision & leadership to Band 7 OTs & other staff, managing performance, sickness & capability.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee data monitoring, manage key performance indicators (KPIs) & quality assure clinical reports & advice.
  • Workforce Development: Champion the team's professional development through appraisals, clinical supervision & coordinating placements for OT students.
  • Risk Management: Handle & investigate DATIX incidents & complaints.
Highly Specialist Clinical Practice (20% focus)
  • Manage a small caseload of highly complex clinical cases (0-19 years), utilizing advanced clinical reasoning, assessment, and intervention skills.
  • Act as a source of expert clinical advice & second opinions for the team, particularly in areas such as splint fabrication, orthotics & managing complex health & educational need.
  • Collaborate on ethical clinical reasoning & problem-solving techniques.
