A local council is seeking an individual passionate about Early Years education to join their supportive team. The role involves working in Reception and Nursery, providing care and educational support to two children with special educational needs. The position is part-time, with fixed-term contracts ending August 2026, working Monday to Friday. Key qualifications include a Level 2 Early Years qualification. The position involves working in Reception in the morning and in Nursery in the afternoon as part of our Early Years Team, providing support to two specific children. Current Paediatric First Aid training is desirable.

We are looking for someone with passion for Early Years, a belief in inclusion and the professional skills to support children with SEND in Nursery and Reception to join our friendly team.
Support two specific children in reception and nursery as part of the Early Years team, providing day‑to‑day care, learning activities and observation, assisting fellow staff and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
Full and relevant Early Years Level 2 as a minimum qualification for this post.
Contract will be fixed term to 31/08/2026, with a potential start date of 5th January. Salary range £18,962‑£20,550, depending on qualifications/experience. Hours of work: 8.30 am‑3.30 pm, Monday‑Friday with 30 minutes lunch break.
