A leading education provider is seeking a Teaching Assistant with a focus on sport and wellbeing. The successful candidate will support pupils during physical activities, promote engagement, and ensure inclusivity for all students. We’re after a Teaching Assistant with a passion for sport and wellbeing. You’ll help pupils access physical activities as part of their personalised curriculum, support their engagement and promote healthy habits.
Supporting pupils during PE lessons, sports clubs and wellbeing sessions
Encouraging participation, positive risk-taking and confidence building
Helping pupils with additional needs feel included in all activities
Supporting transitions and behaviour during active sessions
Working with teachers and coaches to adapt activities as needed
Sporting experience (coaching, clubs, volunteering or PE background)
A patient, encouraging and adaptable approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
A genuine interest in pupil wellbeing
Use your sporting passion in a purposeful education setting
Supportive leadership and ongoing training
Real impact on pupils’ confidence and engagement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
