Role & Responsibilities

You will provide vital one-on-one and small-group support to students with diverse special educational needs. Working closely with teachers, you\'ll implement individual learning plans, helping students achieve their academic and personal goals. You\'ll be a key part of creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, contributing to a thriving learning environment.

Main tasks include
  • Provide individualised and small-group support to students with SEN.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement and adapt individual learning plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist with lesson preparation and materials.
  • Track student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents.
  • Mentor and guide students, celebrating their achievements.
Requirements
  • At least six months experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school setting.
  • A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to supporting students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred).
  • Relevant qualifications in education (preferred).
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to inclusive education practices.
  • Passion for supporting students to reach their full potential.
