Hours: Full-time, term‑time

Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and making a real difference in the classroom? A welcoming primary school in Northwich is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible, working through to April.

Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities
  • Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils
  • Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with behaviour management and pastoral support
  • Contribute to the delivery of creative and inspiring lessons
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Qualifications
  • Experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work or similar)
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow the teacher’s lead and use initiative where needed
  • Ideally a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant), but not essential
