A local education provider is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special needs in their learning journey. This role involves working closely under the guidance of experienced staff to create a nurturing environment. Ideal candidates should have relevant experience, but this is not essential. Teaching Assistant

27.50 Hours per week

Term Time + 1 Week (PD Days)

  • Scale 2 (£12.85 – £13.05 per hour) dependent on experience and length of service
  • Annual Salary (£15,778 - £16,023)

We are looking for Teaching Assistants to join our professional team in providing a supportive environment for pupils who have special needs in accessing the curriculum and to assist in the development and implementation of Educational Health Care Plans.

You will be working under the instruction/guidance of the SENDCo, Assistant SENDCo and the HLTA’s to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for all pupils, whatever their level of learning disability. This sometimes can involve personal care.

Ideally, we are looking for those who have experience in working with children with specific needs, but this is desirable and not essential.
