A special school in Birmingham is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. The role involves supporting children with complex and multiple needs. We are a popular special school located in Sheldon, Birmingham, and we are looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant (TA). The TA will join a dedicated team of Brays staff and multidisciplinary colleagues to support children with complex and multiple needs.
Salary – FET Range: D point 10 – £24,891 – £26,930 (FTE). Pro rata actual: £19,063 – £20,625 plus SEN allowance.
Permanent – Term Time Only. Working 32.50 hours per week.
Location: Brays School, Sheldon, Birmingham.
Start Date: ASAP.
All children have an Education and Health Care Plan. The school currently educates 107 children with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, and/or an autism spectrum condition. Some children have additional needs including visual and hearing impairments. We aim to underpin curriculum delivery through continual development of communication and personalised learning support.
