Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

The Role: What You'll Be Doing

You'll be part of a supportive and highly-resourced school environment, working with students aged 5 to 18 who have complex special educational needs. You'll assist in small class settings, typically supporting 4-5 students, and will work alongside experienced teachers to create a positive learning environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve providing tailored support and helping students thrive both academically and personally.

Candidate Profile: Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs, including those with autism and physical disabilities. While experience with SEN students is a plus, it is not essential; your commitment and character are what matter most.

  • Commitment: A strong desire to support students with complex needs.

  • Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students.

  • Availability: Must be available full-time, Monday to Friday.

  • Checks: An Enhanced DBS check for both children and adults is required.

  • Transport: A full driving license and access to a car is highly recommended due to the school's location.
