Qualifications

• Previous UK school experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant is essential.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent is required.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and good communication skills are critical.

Job Role

• Assist the Class Teacher in delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
• Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment in a busy Primary School setting
• Support the Class Teacher with classroom management and resources
• Encourage and promote positive behaviour in line with school policies
• Assist in assessing and tracking pupil progress

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous UK school experience as a Teaching Assistant, TA, or Learning Support Assistant
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
• Experience working across Reception, EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to different Primary School environments quickly and effectively
