Exeter House School is an all through Education Provision (EP) for children and young people (CYP) with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs. We are a supportive and nurturing community for CYP, aged 2 -19. Rated Good by Ofsted (Jun 23).

We are currently hiring two Teaching Assistants—one for our Pembroke Park (SP2 9LY) and one for our Somerset Road (SP1 3BL) site. Please indicate in your application which location you are applying for.

Note: Applicants will be considered and interviewed as received. Please also note that successful candidates may be required to work within the main site or at any of the school's satellite sites.

Hours: 31 hrs per week preferable, but part time will be considered for the right candidate and where this fits the school's needs.

8.30 am to 3.00 pm (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri)

8.30 am to 4.00 pm (Wed – training 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm)

Includes 30min unpaid lunch break

Includes 13 induction training sessions on Tuesdays 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm arranged by agreement

Training: It is important to us to ensure you feel valued and supported. Full training appropriate to the role will be provided.
