Responsibilities

  • Providing one-on-one and small group support to students.
  • Assisting the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons.
  • Adapting learning materials to meet individual student needs.
  • Monitoring and recording student progress.
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Providing emotional and social support to students.
  • Liaising with parents and other professionals as required.
  • Supervising students during break times and school activities.
  • Attending training and staff meetings to develop your skills.
