Teaching Assistant – Alternate Provision
Location: NN14, Northamptonshire
Position: Full-Time - (Temp to Perm)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £90-£100 per day (depending on experience this is negotiable)

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? An Alternate Provision located in NN14 is looking for a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team working with Key Stage 3 & 4. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with additional needs and challenging behaviour in a nurturing, structured environment.

We’re looking for someone who:

  1. Has experience working in a classroom setting, ideally within an alternate provision, PRU or SEN environment
  2. Has a strong understanding of challenging behaviour and can confidently implement behaviour management strategies
  3. Is resilient, calm under pressure, and committed to helping every child reach their potential
  4. Brings strong communication skills, able to work effectively with students, staff and external professionals
  5. Shows a team player attitude, ready to support colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture
