A leading educational provider is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team in Yate, Bristol. The role involves supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and social, emotional, and mental health needs. As a Teaching Assistant you will work with children and young people who have Autistic Spectrum Disorder and social, emotional and mental health needs. You will help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self‑esteem. Resilience and dedication are essential, and in return you will experience the satisfaction of making a genuine difference.
You will support pupils in a primary school environment that caters for up to 50 pupils with a wide range of needs. Your role includes assisting teachers, working closely with therapists, and contributing to a supportive, inclusive classroom culture. Ideally you have some classroom experience, although we provide comprehensive induction and on‑the‑job training for new team members.
