You will work closely with experienced teachers, supporting pupils across various year groups and gaining valuable experience in classroom management, curriculum planning, and pupil engagement.

Trainees receive intensive career support from experienced teachers and mentors. The academic expectations on School Direct programmes mirror those of university‑led routes. Trainees remain eligible for training bursaries or scholarships, as well as student loans and other financial support.
