Teacher (SEMH Additional Resource Provision) – Full Time, Fixed term until 31st August 2026 (initial instance). SALARY – M2 to M6 (£34,823 to £45,352).

Overview

Role

The SEMH Additional Resource Provision teacher will work with pupils to ensure provision meets their needs, outcomes are achieved and progress is made.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out the duties of a teacher in accordance with the Teachers Pay and Conditions Document and other statutory provisions.
  • Manage and prioritise own workload, be solution‑focused and commit to learning new skills.
  • Support pupils with communication and interaction difficulties and help them flourish alongside peers.
  • Collaborate with the Head Teacher and other staff to deliver high‑quality provision.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Passionate about improving outcomes for SEND children and young people.
  • Recent and relevant experience within education linked to communication and interaction.
  • Secure understanding of the communication and interaction agenda and needs within this area.
  • Beneficial if received Thrive/Trauma informed training.
