Job summary

A Liverpool-based secondary school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Science to deliver engaging and innovative lessons in a permanent role. The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a degree in a relevant science subject, with a commitment to student welfare and collaboration. This position offers a chance to inspire students and contribute to the development of the school's science department starting September 2024.

Qualifications

  • A degree in science, either biology, physics, or chemistry.
  • Experience teaching Science at a secondary school level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality science lessons for secondary school students.
  • Assess and record student progress and provide feedback to enhance student performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop new strategies for teaching.
  • Participate in departmental and parent-teacher meetings.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Science for a secondary school in Liverpool. This is a permanent role for the right candidate.
