Overview

The Westleigh School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) to join our vibrant secondary school community. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire a love of languages in our students and contribute to the continued success of our MFL department.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4 in at least one modern foreign language (French and/or Spanish preferred).
  • Foster a positive classroom environment where students feel motivated and supported to achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the development of an ambitious and innovative MFL curriculum.
  • Play an active role in the wider school community, supporting enrichment opportunities and whole-school initiatives.
  • Support the school ethos and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and ambitious learning environment.
Qualifications and Attributes
  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a specialism in French and/or Spanish.
