What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified History teacher. The successful candidate will be able to teach History to GCSE and A Level. Our Humanities Faculty achieves excellent examination results in all subject areas and has a substantial commitment to A-Level teaching.

The candidate:

  • will be a well-qualified History specialist and able to teach all aspects of History to GCSE and A-Level
  • will be a competent classroom teacher
  • will possess an imaginative and creative approach to teaching the subject to ensure students receive a broad body of History experience
  • will be committed to raising the level of students' interest and achievement
  • will be an effective departmental team member
  • will possess strong ICT skills
