Are you a creative and enthusiastic Teacher of Food Technology looking for your next opportunity? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a supportive Secondary School in Derby City Centre. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible and continuing until Easter 2026.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to inspire students through engaging practical and theory lessons, helping them to develop valuable life skills and a passion for food, nutrition, and healthy living.

What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent)
  • Specialism in Food Technology or related Design & Technology subjects
  • Ability to deliver engaging and creative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Strong classroom management and effective communication skills
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
