Location: Lincoln UTC

Contract type: Full time (fixed term, maternity cover)

Start date: January 2026

Salary: In line with experience MPS - UPS

Responsibilities
  • Teach English to students at KS4 and, dependent on experience, KS5.
  • Cover a maternity leave for a fixed term of approximately 9–12 months.
  • Join and contribute to a supportive and collaborative English department.
  • Have experience teaching GCSE literature, ideally including set texts: Romeo and Juliet, A Christmas Carol, and An Inspector Calls.
Person specification
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong track record of success in English at KS4/KS5.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students.
