Location: Newport, South Wales; Pay Rate: £172.98 per day; Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm; Contract: Full academic year

As an English Teacher, you’ll play a vital part in shaping the learning journey of students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5. You will deliver engaging lessons that spark curiosity, develop critical thinking, and build confidence in communication and writing. Beyond the classroom, you’ll have opportunities to enrich school life through extracurricular activities such as school productions, creative writing clubs, literacy interventions, and educational trips. You’ll also work closely with colleagues to design dynamic schemes of work and high-quality teaching resources.
