We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Chemistry (1.0 FTE).

Salary: SFC range 1 - 9 for teaching staff (dependent on experience), currently GBP 32,178 - GBP 49,725. This post is suitable for NQTs and experienced teachers; trainee/secondary teachers are also welcome to apply.

Faculty Overview

The Maths and Science Faculty deliver a range of A level, AAQ and BTEC courses. We offer A levels in biology, chemistry, physics, maths and environmental science. The BTEC and AAQ provision includes Applied human biology and Applied science. The faculty is comprised of 12 teaching staff and 4 science technicians all of whom are focused on delivering high quality provision in line with the college vision, mission, and values. A specialist maths team deliver all aspects of the maths curriculum and the traditional A level sciences are also delivered by subject specialists. The applied courses in turn are delivered by a team of specialists which does include teachers of A level subjects. All staff work collaboratively to ensure students receive an enjoyable, enriching, and challenging experience which enables all students to realise their potential.
