Overview

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time (ASD/ADHD)
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
Rate: £90-£105 per day

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD and ADHD
  • Implement strategies outlined in EHCPs to meet individual needs
  • Use patience, empathy, and consistency to manage behaviour positively
  • Support with social, emotional, and communication development
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals
  • Help to create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children with ASD and/or ADHD
  • Knowledge of strategies such as visual timetables, sensory aids, and positive behaviour management
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships
  • A proactive, resilient, and compassionate approach
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, SEN training) desirable but not essential
