We are currently expanding our specialist tax teams and seeking to recruit a Tax Disputes and Resolutions Director into our national team. This role involves working with businesses, individuals, and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to resolve tax disputes and inquiries. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with knowledge and experience to achieve positive outcomes for our clients' interactions with HMRC.

This position involves:

1. Leading the national team and developing relationships with a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact.
2. Providing high-quality Tax Dispute Resolution services to clients in collaboration with colleagues and other service lines.
3. Working closely with colleagues to deliver client solutions while adhering to Forvis Mazars' quality standards.
4. Collaborating with partners on external business development and internal networking activities.
5. Mentoring junior staff and actively supporting their development.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification or equivalent.
2. Experience operating at a senior manager level or higher.
3. Excellent communication skills and experience liaising with HMRC.
4. Proven client handling skills and team management experience.
5. Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to network externally and internally.
