VANRATH is pleased to be recruiting for a Tax Accountant for a well‑known company in Mid‑Ulster. Due to a recent restructure, my client is now looking to add a qualified accountant to their tax team.

The Role
  • Support the management of tax‑related activities across various business areas, including preparing required submissions and ensuring accurate reporting to relevant authorities.
  • Assist in periodic financial reporting cycles, ensuring information is completed on time and in line with internal and external requirements.
  • Contribute to key accounting tasks such as balance sheet reviews, statutory reporting, and compliance‑related documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across the finance function to maintain consistency, share best practice, and provide tax or financial insight for wider projects.
  • Maintain high standards of integrity and attention to detail while contributing to broader compliance, regulatory, and analytical responsibilities.
The Ideal Candidate
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CTA qualified (or qualified by experience) with Corporate tax experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and UK tax principles.
  • Experienced in producing and reviewing detailed tax‑related calculations and supporting documentation.
  • Confident working with a range of stakeholders and able to build effective professional relationships.
  • Highly proficient in digital tools and advanced spreadsheet software, with strong overall IT capability.
