Overview

One of my top international law firm clients are looking for a Tax Accountant to join their Tax Team! The culture in this firm truly is fantastic and makes this opportunity stand out.

As a Tax Accountant, you will be focussing on various areas of the Firm's tax compliance, this includes their UK and non-UK entities. You will be working on corporate tax, partnership tax matters and partner tax reserves.

Key responsibilities
  • Preparation and submission of the LLP and corporate tax returns and computations in conjunction with the external tax advisors
  • Preparation of annual partner tax reserving calculations
  • Preparation of bi-annual partners tax payments in conjunction with the firm's tax advisors
  • Work closely with Partnership Accountant
  • Support with reviewing and maintaining tax records
  • Assist with any tax audits or VAT investigations
  • Maintenance of intercompany invoicing
  • Work closely with International Management Accountant to ensure tax related matters are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns in UK and international locations
  • Assist with the corporate tax compliance for the non UK offices
  • Support with HMRC reporting requirements including preparing the PAYE settlement agreement
  • Support in the firm's compliance with STBV reporting
Key requirements
  • My client are open to a candidate who is CTA and/or ACA part qualified
  • Must maintain an in depth knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and tax returns
  • Specialist knowledge and the ability to deal with complex tax issues and solve issues quickly.
