Job description

Ultra Precision Control Systems (PCS) is recruiting a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support the HR function reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule telephone, virtual, and onsite interviews to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Partner closely with HR business partners and hiring managers to manage interview changes and rescheduling needs.
  • Publish job postings across external websites, industry networks, and professional associations to attract diverse talent.
  • Proactively source passive candidates using job boards, online communities, and social media platforms.
  • Generate and analyse recruitment reports—including job postings, candidate activity, offers, and pipeline status—using Excel and PowerPoint to present insights.
  • Review and audit internal recruiting practices to ensure full compliance with established processes.
  • Organise and maintain the team’s shared drive, including updating templates and archiving essential documents.
  • Prepare and send interview confirmations and reminder communications to candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Complete Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearances for candidates.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for agency recruiters, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and manage the HRIS / ATS (Workday).
  • Participate in recruiting kick‑off calls and weekly update meetings with hiring managers and agency partners.
  • Equip career fair teams with all necessary materials, resources, and information ahead of each event.
  • Champion Talent Acquisition processes to ensure consistent operational excellence across all locations and teams.
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of recruitment technologies and tools.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on labour trends, talent pools, and competitive insights.
  • Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an administrative role or environment, delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Exposure to or understanding of recruitment processes is a plus, though not required.
  • Comfortable navigating and adapting to new technologies; experience with resourcing tools or applicant tracking systems is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a willingness to take initiative.
  • Thrives both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic setting.
  • Detail‑oriented with an efficient work style and a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Self‑motivated and eager to demonstrate high levels of personal ownership.
  • Committed to maintaining strict confidentiality and handling sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Must be able to work in the UK without restrictions in accordance with UK National Law and be prepared to successfully undertake an appropriate level of UK National Security Vetting according to UK Government National Security Vetting criteria.
