Job description
Overview

Are you a recruitment or HR professional looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy shaping recruitment strategy and delivering an exceptional candidate experience? Are you ready to own end-to-end recruitment across various teams? Costello Medical is seeking a new in-house Talent Acquisition Administrator to help spearhead our company's growth. You will be responsible for all stages of the recruitment process for multiple roles, delivering an excellent recruitment experience for all candidates. You will manage multiple roles simultaneously, working alongside hiring managers to support our strategic approach to recruitment and candidate attraction, as well as innovation and improving our processes.

One of Costello Medical's priorities is “Talent & Opportunity.” Our approach to recruitment focuses on providing entry-level opportunities and developing talent from within the business. The Talent Acquisition Administrator role will also involve coordinating attendance at university careers fairs, building relationships with university careers advisors, and running our own careers events. You will provide guidance to students, graduates and post-graduates as they start their professional careers. As we grow, we are hiring professionals with experience in new areas, offering opportunities to learn about recruitment strategies for both entry-level and senior positions. You will be involved in projects to develop and improve internal processes and guidance, contribute to our employer brand, boost recruitment marketing, and continue to innovate our practices. We are a friendly and ambitious team seeking someone passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to both internal colleagues and candidates.

The Impact of Your Work

The Talent Acquisition team enables life-changing work across healthcare at Costello Medical. The colleagues we hire go on to help doctors, researchers, hospitals, and policymakers understand complex healthcare science and make smarter decisions about care and costs. By hiring and onboarding exceptional graduates, post-graduates and STEM professionals, you will help our teams grow and, in turn, grow their work in this field. Our focus includes making drugs available on the NHS, educating healthcare practitioners and patients, informing government policy changes, and more.

Key responsibilities
  • End-to-end recruitment administration for multiple roles, including creating and posting job adverts, reviewing applications, assessing candidates, and arranging interviews
  • Overseeing our recruitment inbox and answering candidate queries
  • Conducting telephone interviews, reviewing self-recorded video interviews, and greeting candidates arriving for face-to-face interviews
  • Headhunting and proactively reaching out to prospective candidates
  • Providing guidance and support to hiring managers on talent acquisition strategies and candidate attraction methods
  • Researching, organising, hosting and attending career fairs with universities and other professional or student-focused organisations
  • Ensuring recruitment procedures are fair, inclusive, and comply with best practice
  • Ad-hoc tasks and projects in support of the wider People and Talent Acquisition function (e.g., diversity and inclusion projects, creating new features/content for our website, gathering feedback from new employees, implementing other recruitment solutions)
