Job summary

A recruiting agency is seeking a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant in Hatfield to provide pastoral and academic support for KS2 pupils. The ideal candidate should be caring, proactive, and enjoy working with children. Required hours are a minimum of 15 per week during term time, preferably in the afternoons. A commitment to safeguarding children is essential. This is a fixed-term contract until July 2026.

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming primary school in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, seeking a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to provide pastoral and classroom support for KS2 pupils who may need extra help to thrive.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is positive, proactive and flexible, with a genuine desire to make a difference to children's learning and wellbeing. Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is beneficial but not essential - commitment, reliability and a strong work ethic are key.

Role Details
  • Providing pastoral and academic support to KS2 pupils
  • 15 hours per week minimum, term-time only
  • Afternoons preferred (12:30-3:30pm), flexible for the right candidate
